Focus on one niche (A specific product) and if possible, use affiliate funnels or landing pages to capture emails to stay in constant contact with your audience. There's tons of outdated and misleading information in the form of articles and courses out there on affiliate marketing, but unfortunately, a vast majority of them are designed to cash in on your lack of knowledge so pick and choose wisely. Read and know when something sounds too good to be true. Do your research!
Sign up with Shareasale.com to join online affiliate programs. They manage hundreds of good brands on a single platform. This way you don't have to spend hours on search engines looking for the right program. I personally use them and it's a good and clean user interface. Affiliate marketing can be extremely profitable if you know how it works. Don't get discouraged during the process if you don't see money right away. Stay diligent and focused. Create honest and detailed reviews of the product you choose to advertise and don't get caught up in the hype of alot of those affiliate marketing courses that promise you the moon and don't deliver. In the end, these programs from so-called experts will suck you dry of your hard-earned money. Don't try to make fast short-term income. Spamming social media will only get you so far. Many have tried and failed applying this method of marketing and it will only lead to frustration. Take your time and be very specific about your target audience while at the same time providing valuable information to them. This will pay off big in the long run.
