Pysical Discomfort:
Women with very large breasts often suffer from significant physical discomfort.
Many have severe back and neck pain due to the massive weight of their breasts. Many times a woman's breasts are so large, that something as common as a bra strap will cause permanent grooving in the skin of a woman's shoulders and back because of the bra pressing against them to support the weight of the breasts. Often times after wearing a bra all day, many women have complained about redness or tenderness and can also suffer from rashes and sores, as the large areas of skin press against one another around the areas of the bra.
Large Breasts and Breast Cancer:
Studies have shown that having large breasts or small breasts does not affect your risk for developing breast cancer. Breast cancer develops in the cells that line ducts or lobules. Women of all breast sizes have the same amount of these.
The risk for breast cancer increases with age. Most breast cancers are diagnosed after the age of 50. Genetic mutations. Inherited changes (mutations) to certain genes, such as BRCA1 and BRCA2. Women who have inherited these genetic changes are at higher risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
