I myself love British actors and actresses. You have to to love the accent. Clearly, it breaks down on two fronts. In Britain the acting talent seems to take their training more seriously, as where in the States, there's a sense of entitlement and everyone is going through a sort of social media, image conscious ego trip rather than embracing formal training. (Starting from the bottom and working hard to achieve success.) Many British actors and actresses earn their roles as a certain character. They're not just given a role because their uncle is the producer or someone who knows someone who happpens to know the director got them their big start. Many British actors actually earned their way to the top. Many American actors are getting caught up in this image thing which is going on that is affecting their reach and connection with their audience. Many American actresses have bitten the bullet because of nasty off-screen attitudes and demanding too much money and bullying film crew etc. (Entitlement) That’s not to underscore that the real issue here is Hollywood’s treatment of women. The fact that the industry stops considering actresses for big leads past the age of 30 to 40 is of course the biggest issue at play. This needs to change if they intend to keep the industry alive. Age doesn't make you a bad actor or actress. Hollywood need to get over making movies all about how beautiful a person is. They are dramatically limiting the playing field with this kind of mentality.

I love both American and British actors and actresses alike. It's the talent that counts, not the so much the nationality. Good seed produces good fruit. Continued success to you all.
