I really think it is worth it especially if you're going to be there for five days and the pass covers more than just the basic museums.
I would start with the smaller museums such as L'Orangerie and the Notre Dame Cathedral.
The Louvre and Musée d'Orsay both have late nights where you can schedule to go later in the day if you made other plans during the your time there.
Each Wednesday and Friday, the Louvre extends its hours of operation to 9:45 pm.
The Musée d'Orsay is also open until 9:45pm on Thursdays.
The pass is also good for the Palace of Versailles. An amazing place! 👍
Tip 1: If you can locate the mini Arc de Triomphe and go downstairs, you will see a "tabac" shop located at the bottom of the stairs. You can buy all of your tickets there and skip the lines everywhere you want to go except for the security lines. (This might have changed since my visit, but it is worth the effort to find out.)
Tip 2: Some of the museums and tourist attractions have media rates, so if you have any sort of ID that proves you are a journalist or part of the media, you might be able to get in for free. (Again, worth looking into.)
Also take into consideration that the first Sunday of every month, the museums in Paris are free.
There's so much to see, so 5 or more days is time well spent in my opinion.
Did you know: In 2016, The Louvre was the world's most visited art museum, receiving 7.3 million visitors.
Hope I was helpful and enjoy your trip!
