The answer is yes. I to have also read numerous articles with regards to this unacceptable conduct demonstrated by these so-called professionals. One in particular is where the medical staff was taking photos of an unconscious patients bodily injuries with their cell phones and sharing them with family members and online.
This kind of unprofessional behavior should be punishable by hefty fines and they should have their licenses suspended or revoked for betraying the public trust.
This type of unprofessional behavior also shines a negative light on the good men and women who practice medicine and/or perform surgery. It also raises the question, "What else are medical professionals doing while unconscious people unable to defend themselves are under the knife."
People should be able to trust the medical community without question or doubt. The nerve of these people to take advantage of trusting individuals.
This should not be overlooked or tolerated. People have surgery to get help, not to be judged, criticized or abused in any manner.
People deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. The medical community definitely needs to be examined more closely. I will keep my eyes open for any new developments on this subject.
