Many people from all walks of life get gym memberships every day with the intent of getting fit and improving their health. I see it all the time when I ride by a local gym and see a group of people working out inside.
This is a good thing. The problem is, is that most people don't stick to the routine.
Somewhere along the way, for one reason or another, they lose their motivation and/or confidence and go every now and then, pushing them further away from their goal of a more healthy lifestyle.
It's easy to fall into this category. Jobs get in the way, depression, you may have moved away from the area etc.
This is where a personal trainer is most beneficial.
A good personal trainer, will make sure that his or her client sticks to their plan. They will motivate you to the point where it comes natural to you.
Some shy away from personal trainers because they don't like to be pushed to thier limits of exhaustion, so they choose to stick with a gym membership and work out on their own time.
This is fine, but for those of you who want the maximum results and are not afraid to challenge yourself, then a personal trainer is just what the doctor ordered.

2. PROPER FAT LOSS AND MUSCLE GAIN
Most people have multiple goals when working out, the most common being fat loss and muscle gain. It’s often hard to find the right balance between these two, and a personal trainer can help you find the right exercises to achieve all of your goals. It's also a good idea to calculate your (BMI) or (Body mass index).
3. REDUCED CHANCE OF INJURY
A personal trainer will teach you the proper form and technique to use during your workout so you can stay safe and avoid injury.
4. ESTABLISHES A LIFETIME EXERCISE HABIT
A personal trainer can help you find ways to make healthy living and exercise a priority in your life. They can help you overcome obstacles that might prevent you from exercising, and help you set many small, achievable goals.
5. OVERCOMING OBSTACLES
When you hit a obstacle in your exercise routine, it can be hard to push through and stay motivated. A personal trainer can help you understand why you hit that road block and find ways for you to work through it to achieve better results.
