I believe the reason that 'Black Panther' gained so much positive attention, popularity and feedback, (Not only for the African American community, but the world) is because for many of us, we finally got to see a black lead superhero and predominantly all black cast in a positive light fueled by a compelling storyline. That speaks volumes among the masses.
There have been rave reviews from all walks of life, documented worldwide!
Schools have raised money for small children to see the film on school field trips, over 50K was raised on gofundme to take countless other children to see the hit movie.
For too many years, blacks (African Americans) have been portrayed as thieves, bank robbers, drug addicts, butler's or the sidekick to a white superhero.
With blacks being reflected so negatively for so many years, 2018 was long overdue for them (Hollywood) to release a worthy film.
'Black Panther ' grossed more than $738 million globally in the first 10 days of its release.
This film should be telling Hollywood that they're on the right track by finally producing a 'Big screen' worthy superhero film with an all black cast.
